VPNMoon Privacy Policy

Private by design: no account, no browsing logs, nothing to sell.

Last updated: July 15, 2026

The short version. VPNMoon does not require an account. We do not log, store, or inspect your browsing activity or the traffic that passes through the VPN tunnel. We do not sell, use, or disclose your data to any third parties for any purpose.

1. Data we do NOT collect

2. Data we collect, and why

3. Our commitment

We do not sell, use, or disclose your data to any third parties for any purpose. The limited technical data listed above is processed only by infrastructure providers acting on our instructions (Apple, RevenueCat, Sentry, Google Firebase) to operate the service, and by no one else. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than running VPNMoon.

4. DNS filtering

While connected, DNS queries are resolved through a filtering resolver (AdGuard DNS) to protect your device from tracking and malicious domains. We do not receive or store your DNS queries. AdGuard DNS processes queries under its own privacy policy.

5. The in-app private browser

The built-in browser runs entirely on your device, uses ephemeral (non-persistent) storage, and clears everything when closed. Tracker-blocking counters are computed on your device and never leave it.

6. Data retention

Weekly usage counters reset every week. Anonymous identifiers persist only while needed for abuse prevention. Diagnostics are retained by the respective providers for their standard, limited periods.

7. Children

VPNMoon is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
